GRAPHIC DESIGNER / ILLUSTRATOR

This is my thesis project, which is taking one of the most famout middle eastern love story of all time and illustrating it. The main concept of the illustrations is animal symbolism. I used animal symbolisms to symbolize the character's personality according to persian symbolism. The symbolisms appear in the form of spirit animals.

The media that I used for the illustrations are poster color. The layout of the book is kept central, following the style of Islamic illluminated manuscript. For an added design element, I also created custom fonts for the dropcap for the fist letter in each chapter
