Absinthe was a strong and popular kind of alcohol drink that was popular in the early 20th Century amongst Artists and poets. Absinthe was a hallucinogenic drink which means that it might give the drinker hallucinations after. Although it seems wonderful and promising inspirations to the artists, absinthe is also addictive and dangerous. This poems are made by people inspired by the drink, and the illustrations portray how magical and deadly absinthe is.
